Bank DKI Achieves ISO 9001: 2015 For Internal Audit Quality Management System

JAKARTA - As part of the commitment to improve the quality of governance in carrying out internal audit duties and functions, Bank DKI won ISO 9001: 2015 Certification of Quality Management System by TUV Nord Indonesia, whose handover was carried out in Jakarta on Tuesday 5 March.

The certificate was handed over by Donny Moehardono as Head of the Certification Agency of PT TUV Nord Indonesia to the Director of Technology and Operations concurrently Acting (Plt.) President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono.

ISO 9001: 2015 certification is one of the globally recognized standard frameworks for quality management, whose assessments are based on 7 principles, including Customer Focus (Focus on customers), Leadership (Leadership), Engagement of People (human resource involvement), Process Approach (process approach), Improvement (continuous Improvement), Environment-Based Decision Making (Decision based on data and facts), and Relationship Management (Management of links with stakeholders).

"The ISO 9001: 2015 Certification achievement means that Bank DKI has applied international standards to the essential functions of internal audits and reflects the dedication and collective hard work of the Management team and all employees of Bank DKI in an effort to improve the operational quality of the Company, especially the internal audit system," said Amirul.

Furthermore, Amirul expressed confidence that this success will have a positive impact on increasing the Company's overall productivity and operational performance, as well as being optimistic through high internal audit quality management standards, Bank DKI will be more able to provide the best service and strengthen its position in the banking industry regionally and nationally.

Bank DKI has gone through a series of assessment processes so that it is set to meet the ISO 9001: 2015 standard Internal Quality Audit Management System, namely Audit Stage 1 with an assessment including a Review of Systems, Review of documented management system, Review of Risk & Opportunity process, and Organization Knowledge, and Audit Stage 2 which includes interviews related to the audit process as a whole to the Head of the Working Unit and Division Leadership Officers at the Internal Audit Work Unit, including the Audit Technology Information Audit Division, Audit Management Division, General Audit Division, and Branch Internal Control Unit (KIC).

The receipt of the ISO 9001: 2015 Internal Audit Quality Management System also adds to the row of international standard certification received and maintained by Bank DKI, including the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System Certification, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System in the Goods and Services Procurement Process, ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System on the Provision of Super Apps JakOne Mobile Services, ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System on IT Helpdesk Services, and ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Systems.

In line with this, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said that the acceptance of the ISO 9001: 2015 Certification not only emphasized the quality of the internal audit management of Bank DKI, but also indicated the Company's readiness to face dynamic challenges and changes in the banking industry. This is also a positive step in building customer and stakeholder trust.
