3.8 Kg Of Shabu Courier Arrested By Police In Banjarmasin

BANJARMASIN - South Kalimantan Police revealed the circulation of 3,85 grams or approximately 3.85 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine from a cross-provincial network brought by a courier in Banjarmasin.

"The suspect with the initials HA (40) was arrested on Friday (1/3) on Jalan Pramuka, Banjarmasin City while carrying evidence of methamphetamine," said the Director of Drug Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Kelana Jaya, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 5.

Disclosure began with public information that there would be a plan for narcotics transactions of methamphetamine around Jalan Pramuka Banjarmasin.

The Opsnal Subdit III team led by Plt. Head of Sub-Directorate III of the Narcotics Directorate of the South Kalimantan Police AKBP Zaenal Arifien then conducted an investigation and collected scientific or scientific data.

After obtaining data about the characteristics of people carrying narcotics using motorbikes, officers immediately carried out an ambush when the target passed.

"When methamphetamine was found wrapped in 38 packages ready to be distributed, the suspect was taken on the orders of someone," said Kelana.

From the suspect's confession, the narcotics will be delivered to the customer by means of a "mine system" or placed in one place without meeting the buyer directly.

Based on data processing and synchronization of the results of previous case investigations, the police detected that the suspect was still controlled by cross-provincial networks in the Kalimantan region.

The suspect is now detained and charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) subs Article 112 paragraph (2) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a minimum penalty of 6 years and a maximum of 20 years.
