Jokowi Bincang Relaxes With A Number Of State Leaders At The ASEAN-Australia Summit Sela

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo and leaders of other countries chatted casually on the sidelines of holding the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit (KTT) in Melbourne, Australia.

Reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 5, President Joko Widodo met with a number of state leaders who attended the ASEAN-Australian Special Summit (KTT) in the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center (MCEC) waiting room.

President Widodo had a warm conversation in an informal session with state leaders before attending a reception held by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in the context of the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit.

The ASEAN-Australia Special Summit (KTT) was held in Melbourne from March 4 to 6, 2024 to celebrate 50 years of ASEAN's partnership with Australia.

President Jokowi previously said that the summit would discuss a comprehensive ASEAN-Australia strategic partnership that could be optimized in the future in order to create a peaceful, stable and prosperous Indo Pacific region.

In addition to attending the summit, President Widodo also held a bilateral meeting with Australian, New Zealand and Cambodian Prime Ministers.
