French Results Open 2024: Gregoria To The Second Round
JAKARTA The women's singles badminton player, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, confirmed the ticket to the second round of the French Open 2024 after beating South Korean representative Kim Ga-eun.
Gregoria, who became the seventh seed in the Super 750 BWF tournament, qualified with a rubber game 21-16, 12-21, and 21-14 at the Porte de la Chapelle Arena, Paris, France, Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
Gregoria immediately got three consecutive points at the beginning of the first game. The good opening then tried to be dammed by his opponent by identifying 5-5 and 7-7.
However, Gregoria immediately scored five consecutive points. The big number difference made the 2017 junior world champion comfortable leading until he won the first game.
