Student In Gorontalo Becomes Victim Of Terror 400 Fictitious Orders, Perpetrators Are Men Who Meet On Social Media

GORONTALO - A student in Gorontalo has been a victim of fake order terror ordered online by unknown people using the name and social media account up to the victim's personal cell phone number.

The victim's attorney Ali Rajab said that since mid-2023 until now, around 400 packages of fake orders of various types have been sent by a man who claims to be named Riswan to the address where the victim lives.

"So the man ordered the package of goods via social media and addressed it to the victim, even though the victim admitted that he had never ordered or purchased the package sent," Ali said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 5.

He said this incident began in mid-2023, where previously since 2017, the victim and the man had become acquainted through social media to establish close relations.

In mid-2023, the victim decided not to continue their relationship which was only through social media because the man did not want to meet the victim and even showed his face.

Allegedly feeling that he did not accept the victim's decision, the man began to carry out his actions by ordering various kinds of goods and foods addressed to the victim.

Friends to lecturers from the victim also experienced the same thing. Recently, the man created a Gacebook account on behalf of the victim and made inappropriate comments about the figure of the artist Owan from Boalemo Regency who managed to win a voice processing event on a private television station.

"My client's mental condition was devastated and even reportedly that Owan fans in Gorontalo would report to the police regarding the comments," said Ali.

The victim also reported to Sub-Directorate V of the Special Criminal Directorate (Ditkrimsus) of the Gorontalo Police since December 1, 2023, but his party has not received a Letter of Development of Report Research Results (SP2HP).

"We hope that the Gorontalo Police will immediately follow up and deal with this problem. Because this treatment is still ongoing and causes the mental condition of the victim to be greatly hit," he added.
