6 West Aceh BPKD ASN Examined By The Prosecutor's Office In The Corruption Case Of Regional Tax Collection
ACEH - West Aceh District Attorney's investigators continue to examine a number of witnesses related to the alleged corruption case of incentives for collecting regional taxes reaching billions of rupiah. A total of six local government ASNs are still being investigated by investigators."The ASN “Six that we examined were all on duty at the Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) of West Aceh Regency,” said the Head of the West Aceh District Attorney, Siswanto, to reporters in Meulaboh, as reported by Antara, Monday, March 5.The examination of the six ASNs was carried out after the West Aceh District Attorney's Office raised the case of alleged corruption in incentives for collecting taxes to investigations last week.The investigation was carried out after prosecutor's investigators found sufficient preliminary evidence of indications of state financial losses, which were estimated at billions of rupiah.There are also indications of the alleged corruption crime, which occurred in the period 2018-2022 against the payment of incentives for collecting local taxes, which allegedly did not comply with the provisions of the applicable legislation.In addition, the alleged corruption crime allegedly involved dozens of ASN and other parties at the BPKD of West Aceh Regency.
Siswanto said that the alleged corruption crimes being carried out by the investigation included incentives for collecting local taxes, including levies on public street lighting tax (PPJU) as well as a number of levies and other regional taxes."There are still many parties that we will examine for questioning, we will remain focused on resolving this case until it is complete in the future trial," said Kajari Siswanto.
