Immediately Tried, Police Hand Over Teenager Kills Baby To Aceh's Nagan Raya Kejari
NAGAN RAYA - Investigator of the Nagan Raya Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Aceh Province, handed over KM (17 years), a suspect in the murder of his own baby to the local prosecutor (JPU).
"We submit the suspect to the prosecutor after the investigation case file is declared complete (P-21)," said Head of the Nagan Raya Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Aceh, Iptu Vitra Ramadani, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 5.
In addition to the suspect, investigators also handed over a number of evidences including one black t-shirt short-sleeved, one red maron kulot pants, one blue underwear, one creamy underwear, one blue and black scissors, and one multiple DNA test results reports.
The delegation of the murder crime case was received by the Public Prosecutor of Nagan Raya District Attorney, Aceh, Musa Krisna Putra.
In this case, the suspect KM was charged with Article 342 in conjunction with Article 341 of the Criminal Code and or Article 80 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 76 C of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, in conjunction with Article 1 point 3 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System.
Iptu Vitra Ramadani explained that the suspect KM was previously arrested in Sunday (18/2) after police personnel conducted a series of investigations, after the case of finding a baby was allegedly dumped in an irrigation canal in East Seunagan District, Nagan Raya Regency on Thursday, February 15.
The cause of the suspect's murder of the biological child he gave birth to was because the suspect could not hold back his shame with the neighbors around his parents' house.

The suspect is suspected of being desperate to kill his son after giving birth in the bathroom of his parents' house by putting the baby in a plastic bag.
Then he allegedly threw the baby into an irrigation canal behind the victim's parents' house, about 50 meters away so that the baby's body was found by the farmer and this case was then reported to the village and police, said Iptu Vitra Ramadani.
