Obscenity, Prosecutors Sue 61-Year-Old Grandfather In Ambon 7 Years In Prison

AMBON - Public Prosecutor of the Ambon Kejari Endang Anakoda charged a 61-year-old grandfather who was accused of alleged criminal acts of rudapaksa and sexual abuse of minors for seven years in prison. Prosecutor's demands were delivered in a trial at the Ambon District Court led by the chairman of the panel of judges Martha Maitimu accompanied by two member judges. The prosecutor also demanded that the defendant pay a fine of Rp. 50 million and if the fine is not paid, it will be replaced with imprisonment for three months. A number of evidence in the form of clothes and pants belonging to both to the defendant and the victim is determined to be confiscated and destroyed. The alleged criminal incident committed by the defendant occurred on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at around 17:30 WIT in front of a stall in Tuhaha Country, Saparua District (Central Maluku Regency).
