North Sumatra PSSI Asprov KLB Will Be Held After PON 2024

JAKARTA - Arya Sinulingga as Acting Chairman of the Asprov PSSI North Sumatra stated that the Asprov Extraordinary Congress (KLB) is planned to be held after the Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week (PON) 2024.

At a virtual press conference, Monday, March 4, 2024, Arya Sinulingga said that the KLB plan was based on the priority of preparing the North Sumatra football team to compete in the 2024 PON.

"I personally really want it to be fast, in accordance with the PSSI Decree (SK) Number 20/SKEP/II-2024, namely that the KLB will be held within six months after the decree is issued. However, we have a priority scale, how can the North Sumatra football team achieve maximum results in the 2024 PON," said Arya Sinulingga.

Furthermore, Arya Sinulingga also said that it took quite a long time to carry out the KLB. You see, currently there are still several district/city administrators chaired by Plt (assignment executor).

"Therefore, the available time is better prepared for maximum in PON. Later I will discuss with a number of parties about this KLB, which ones are indeed more priority," said Arya.

Asked about the North Sumatra PSSI management which is demisionary in accordance with PSSI Decree Number 20/SKEP/II-2024, Arya emphasized that managing football is not an easy matter. Therefore, collaboration with various parties is needed, including the previous management.

"I will immediately go to Medan City for a meeting with the previous management. The point is this is all for the advancement of North Sumatra football in the future," said Arya.
