JAKARTA - Blu by BCA Digital (blue), one of the digital banks from BCA Group posted a net profit of IDR 46.04 billion in 2023.

In addition, the company also recorded customer growth of 53.4 percent or based on the current number of customers, which has reached more than 1.7 million customers.

"We are happy to be trusted to be your partner in meeting the needs of daily financial transactions," said Head of Corporate Planning BCA Digital Yoga Halim in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, March 4.

blu support for customers in achieving financial maturity is realized, one of which is through a commitment to increase financial literacy and inclusion.

At least, blu noted customer literacy growth through the inititative bluAcademy education class which has been attended by more than 3,500 participants, where nearly 40 percent of participants said they had received the required financial literacy.

Yoga claims that the financial inclusion of blu customers has increased throughout 2023. This is shown from the total transaction frequency of 73.7 million years to date (ytd), and the total transaction volume of IDR 181.9 trillion which has increased more than three times compared to the previous year.

This volume increase can also be seen from the increase in transaction activities, starting from transfer transactions which rose 215 percent, payments using QRIS which grew by more than 367 percent and digital money topup transactions (e-money) which grew 282 percent.

The overall increase is supported by the presence of various new products and features that support the financial transaction needs of customers to achieve financial maturity.

Among them are the launch of a blueDebit Card card to complement the transaction needs of customers, and bluInvest in collaboration with investment partners Moduit and FUNDtastic. In addition, the company also provides a blu Insurance feature in collaboration with BCA Life.

Then, there are bluBisnis to support palblu business transactions, apply for loans through bluExtra Cash, pay PLN bills, PDAM to BPJS and BCA flazz card top-ups directly from the blu application.

Furthermore, Yoga explained, in addition to supporting financial transactions through products and facilities, blu has also expanded digital ecosystem and in-app payment services to make it easier for customers to make financial transactions from partner applications without the need to leave the application.

Among them are the launch of collaboration through blunders with various partners from various industrial sectors, ranging from the payment of gold investment needs with GoldKita, food and beverage (FnB) with Fore and Kopi Kenangan, to education in collaboration with ITHB, UPH, and Talenta Nusantara.

"Not only that, but blu also cooperates with vehicle credit payment partners such as BAF (Bussan Auto Finance). Where, all payments can be made easily by simply linking the blu account account with each partner application," explained Yoga.

To continue to increase the financial inclusion of loyal customers, blu also regularly holds attractive promos that customers can enjoy.
