OKI Will Hold An 'Extraordinary Meeting' Next Week To Discuss Palestine
JAKARTA - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) said it would hold an "extraordinary meeting" of the Foreign Ministers Council on March 5 "to discuss Israel's continued aggression against the Palestinian people."
The Pan-Islam Agency said in a statement that the trial would be held at its head office in Jeddah City, Saudi Arabia.
In November, the OKI and the Arab League held a joint summit in Riyadh, which adopted a number of decisions including assigning a committee to visit the world's capital cities and seeking efforts to end Israel's war on the Palestinian people.
