2 Suspects Of Rp1 Billion Village Fund Corruption In Aceh Handed Over To Prosecutors

NAGAN RAYA - Investigators from the Nagan Raya Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Aceh Province, handed over two suspects in the village fund corruption case, each with the initials OD and SY, former village head (keuchik) and treasurer of Blang Lango Village, East Seunagan District, Nagan Raya Regency.

"We submit the suspect to the prosecutor's office after the case file is declared complete or P-21," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Nagan Raya Police, Aceh, Iptu Vitra Ramadani as reported by ANTARA, Friday, March 1.

Vitra Ramadani mengatakan, kedua tersangka selama ini telah dilakukan penahan di Polres Nagan Raya, setelah keduanya ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dugaan korupsi dana desa tahun anggaran 2017, 2018, 2019 dengan indikasi kerugian negara mencapai Rp1,07 miliar lebih.

In addition to handing over the two suspects, the police also attached a number of evidences in the form of APBDes/APBGampong documents from 2017 to 2019 as well as a number of other documents.

Iptu Vitra Ramadani explained that the case was revealed after investigators from the Nagan Raya Police Satreskrim conducted an investigation into a case of alleged corruption in the management of village funds in Blang Lango Village, East Seunagan District, Nagan Raya Regency.

Based on the examination of witnesses, expert witnesses and documents obtained by investigators, said Iptu Vitra Ramadani, the management of village funds from 2017 to 2019 was allegedly not in accordance with the rules, thus causing irregularities in the management of village funds.
