Cak Imin: Rising Rice Prices Should Be Profit Farmers, But Not In Fact

JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin assessed that something was wrong with the scarcity of rice in the market which led to soaring rice prices.

According to the General Chairperson of the PKB, the price of rising rice should benefit farmers but the reality states otherwise. "The price of rising rice should be the profit of farmers, but in reality it doesn't," said Cak Imin on his X-social media account, Friday, March 1.

Therefore, Cak Imin considers that there are factors that are not appropriate because in fact the community and even farmers are scarcity of rice and the high price of rice in the market.

"But in reality, why not, there must be a lot of things that must be addressed immediately," he said.
