EDOTCO, Telecom Infra Project (TIP) And Telkom University Will Create A Host Neural Initiative
JAKARTA - EDOTCO, a regional telecommunications infrastructure service company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Telecom Infra Project (TIP) and Telkom University, in revolutionizing the telecommunications landscape in Southeast Asia.
Signed in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 at Barcelona, this collaboration will create a neutral host ecosystem, in order to enable smooth connectivity across diverse networks.
"By combining our industrial expertise with innovative solutions, we aim to define a digital landscape, creating a future where connectivity is not only sophisticated but also inclusive," said Gayan Koralage, Director of the EDOTCO Group Strategy in a statement on Friday, March 1.
By utilizing Open RAN solutions, partners can create a scalable and efficient framework with smooth connectivity.
This Open RAN solution will also enable interoperability and flexibility, which results in more efficient use of network resources and provides benefits for consumers and businesses with increased coverage, latency reduction, and better digital experience.
This project will be focused for the first time in Indonesia. Even so, Gayan Koralage emphasized that they would bring this innovation to a wider extent in Southeast Asia.
