The Indonesian Team Is In A State Of The Face Of The French Open And All England 2024
JAKARTA The Indonesian badminton team has careful preparations for the French Open 2024 which will take place tomorrow and All England on 12-17 March 2024.
A large group of athletes, coaches, and support teams departed through Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, Wednesday, February 28, 2024, evening WIB.
Head of the Development and Achievement Division of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), Ricky Soebagdja, said the badminton team was in good condition for the two tournaments.
"Our team is ready to compete. The preparation is quite mature and the condition of the children is good. So, how will they compete there later because the competition at the Super 750 and Super 1,000 levels is very tight," said Ricky.
To face the two major tournaments, the Indonesian badminton team made preparations for approximately four weeks. The quite long time took place after the 2024 Indonesia Masters in January.

"The training is to improve the shortages, the handling of injuries, and fatigue. We maximize everything," said Ricky.
On this trip to Europe, PBSI brought Lilik Sudarwati (a sports psychologist), Nanang Kesuma (a performance analyst), and Paulina Toding (a nutrition doctor) to help improve athlete performance in the field.
Ricky explained that the names were part of the Ad Hoc Team for the 2024 Paris Olympics. They had previously started working at the 2024 Indonesia Masters.
"We also invite psychologists, performance analysts, and nutritionists as part of the PBSI Ad Hoc Team program. The goal is to definitely support and maintain athlete performance in the field," said Ricky.
"In my opinion, these posts are quite crucial at times like this. We really need assistance like this. From our continuous evaluation, what we complain about, what we feel, try to prepare and fulfill everything," he said.
The French Open 2024 will take place on March 5-10, 2024. While the oldest tournament in the world, All England 2024, will be held two days later.
