VinFast Registers His Electric Motor Patent In India, What's The Excess?
JAKARTA - Electric vehicle manufacturer from Vietnam, VinFast, seems to be very serious about working on the Indian market. Not long ago the first official deployment for its manufacturing factory in India, now the company has registered a design patent for one of the electric scooters.
Quoting from the Indian Autocar page, Wednesday, February 28, VinFast is famous for its premium electric car, but the company also has various electric scooters sold in the domestic market. One of the scooters is Klara S, whose design trademark is now registered in India.
Seeing the specifications, Klara S is equipped with a hub with a maximum power of 3 kW, and the highest speed reaches 78 km/hour similar to India's popular iQube TVS.
Interestingly, the one motor uses an LFP battery with a capacity of 3.5 kWH and is able to cover a distance of 194 km with a driver weight of 65 kg and a stable speed of 30 km/hour.
As is known, LFP batteries are heavier than Li-ions, but VinFast managed to lose weight of up to 122 kg.
