Enlivening Cheap Electric Car Markets In Europe, MG Is Ready To Present One New Model
JAKARTA - Morris Garage (MG) has successfully launched MG3 as an affordable hybrid hatchback for the European market. But the need for a low-cost EV in Europe is currently triggering the British brand to present it.
MG plans to launch an Electric Vehicle (EV) for around 20,000 (equivalent to IDR 397 million) for the British market by the end of next year.
This plan was revealed by David totaling, as Director of Product & Planning MG Motor UK, which indicates that it will expand the ranks of cheap electric vehicles so that they can compete with Dacia Spring, Citroen e-C3 to Vauxhall Corsa Electric, the latest variant of Yes Edition.
"I think someone can do that with an acceptable price range, a decent-sized car at that price, and I think that person will accept it,"tipis quoted from Autocar, Wednesday, February 28.
He also explained that car development at affordable prices takes time and it would be great if the product could arrive at the market by the end of next year.
"It would be great if we could get such a product in the market by the end of next year. To be honest, there are still a few more years, but I don't think it's impossible and I think we can do it," addedvillage.

It is possible that the car will adopt the design of the existing concept car. It is estimated that the model will be named MG2 as one of the affordable electric vehicles to be sold on the blue and British continents.
However, it is possible that this latest vehicle will be sold globally, especially if you look at the European SAIC design center in London that has worked on various types of models that are not sold in Europe and the UK.
This is a spiritual home of the brand and we are seen as a very important brand, concluded korot.
Meanwhile, MG has launched another EV entry-level called Comet for the Indian market, a Wuling Air ev-based model. Please note, both MG and Wuling are under the auspices of one parent company, namely SAIC Motor.
