Jakarta Peradi Chairman Arman Hanis Appointed As Legal Counsel For South Sulawesi Governor Nurdin Abdullah
JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the Governor of South Sulawesi Nurdin Abdullah, Veronica Moniaga, said the family had appointed Arman Hanis as a legal representative to accompany Nurdin Abdullah during the legal process at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Arman Hanis is the Chairman of the Central Jakarta Peradi (Indonesian Advocates Association). "Mr. Arman Hanis in the future will provide more information regarding the sustainability of the legal process for Nurdin Abdullah," said Veronica Moniaga in her statement in Makassar, Sunday, February 28.
Arman Hanis will later assist in the ongoing process and will mediate the ongoing process at the KPK. "The family has also discussed and discussed and has chosen a lawyer, namely Mr. Arman Hanis," he said.
Meanwhile, the family is also in good condition and continues to provide support to Nurdin Abdullah. Currently, most of them are in Jakarta.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) named three suspects in cases of suspected bribery and gratuity related to the procurement of goods and services, licensing, and infrastructure development within the South Sulawesi Provincial Government (Pemprov Sulsel) for the 2020-2021 Budget Year.
Three suspects, namely as recipients respectively the Governor of South Sulawesi Nurdin Abdullah (NA) and Edy Rahmat (ER) as the Secretary of the Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUTR) of South Sulawesi Province or a confidant of Nurdin Abdullah.
Meanwhile, as the suspect, namely Agung Sucipto (AS) as the contractor.
"Based on the testimony of witnesses and sufficient evidence, the KPK has named three suspects. As recipients are NA and ER, the giver is AS," said KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri during a press conference at the KPK building, Jakarta, Sunday morning.
