Golkar's Menohok Response To Cabinet Meeting To Discuss Free Prabowo-Gibran Lunch Is Considered Unnatural
JAKARTA - The chairman of the Golkar Party DPP, Ace Hasan Syadzily, responded to the cabinet meeting of President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) government which was considered unreasonable because he discussed the free lunch program launched by Paslon number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.The cabinet meeting which was held on Monday, February 16, yesterday was considered strange. The reason is, the KPU has not yet appointed Prabowo-Gibran as president and vice president-elect.Although it is considered negative because Prabowo and Gibran have not yet led the next government, Ace said that many parties have collected promises regarding this free lunch and milk program.Therefore, said Ace, ministers in the cabinet, especially from the Golkar Party who are also political parties supporting Prabowo-Gibran, are obliged to secure the vision and mission of their presidential and vice presidential candidates if they are announced to be the winners of the presidential election."Yes, now it's like this, the problem is that many parties have not yet made an appointment, so to answer that, of course, the first thing we have to make sure is that especially us from the Golkar Party secure what is the vision and mission of the president that we support," said Ace at the DPR Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 27."One of them is how to encourage in this DPR various policies related to the flagship program, namely free lunch and milk," continued the spokesman for the TKN Prabowo-Gibran.Previously, Deputy Chairman of the Budget Agency (Banggar) of the DPR RI from the PKB faction, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, considered it strange that the government had discussed the free meal program from Paslon 02 at the plenary cabinet meeting at the State Palace yesterday.
