Regarding The Issue Of PPP Meeting Supporting Prabowo-Gibran, AHY Leaves It To The Coalition

Chairman (Ketum) of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono alias AHY admitted that he had not heard any news about the plan to close PPP in the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka coalition.

"I haven't heard of that yet," said AHY, who is also the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Tuesday, February 27, was confiscated by Antara.

AHY emphasized that the Democrat Party as one of the parties that supported Prabowo-Gibran handed over the decision to Prabowo as the coalition leader regarding strengthening the coalition.

However, he believes that Prabowo will invite the general chairmen of political parties who are currently in the coalition.

"Of course we want to provide input to each other," he explained.

According to AHY, the strengthening of the coalition continues to be discussed because all supporting parties and supporters want the Prabowo-Gibran government in the future, if they win the presidential election, it will be successful and have strong support from parliament.

"Because we also hope that the policies, the programs that have been appointed as political promises during the campaign period by the Prabowo-Gibran pair can be guarded and succeeded together," he said.

Previously, the Chairman of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) PPP Sandiaga Uno answered questions about the opportunity for his party to join the Prabowo-Gibran coalition.

Sandiaga said PPP is currently a party supporting the government and its position is in government.

According to his personal views, PPP would be very honorable to be invited to build the nation.

"Because according to his name, the United Development Party for the unity of Indonesia and development must actively participate in building the nation. That's my view," said Sandiaga in Jakarta, Monday, February 26.

Nevertheless, Sandi emphasized that the process of determining the political direction of PPP will be determined in the National Leadership Meeting.
