Donald Trump Starts Changing His Establishment On Bitcoin, Admits Increased Demand

JAKARTA - Former President of the United States, Donald Trump, has changed his stance on Bitcoin. From the beginning making an anti-Bitcoin statement and calling it a fraud during his tenure as president, Trump now says that BTC is something that is acceptable and recognizes increasing demand.

During a recent interview on Fox News, Trump was asked about his views on China's increasing digital currency and whether the right way to fight it was through decentralized currency networks, such as Bitcoin. Trump, said that the US dollar was still the main currency for him, but at the same time, acknowledged the growing popularity and adoption of Bitcoin.

"I love dollars, but a lot of people use Bitcoin, and to be honest, this has taken over. You may have to do some of the regulations, as you know, but a lot of people are embracing them. And the more, I see people want to pay with Bitcoin, and you see something interesting. So I can accept it one way or another," Trump said.

Trump's recent changes in his attitude towards Bitcoin differed from his previous views when he served as president. At the time, Trump denounced Bitcoin, called it a fraud, and reportedly ordered the financial secretary to "carry for Bitcoin."

Trump is currently campaigning as a candidate in the upcoming 2024 United States presidential election, and some within the crypto community believe his recent change in attitude towards Bitcoin could be a political motivation to draw more votes from the growing crypto industry. Others have also shown that he is only doing "persis what Trump is best done," which is not fully committed in one direction or another.

One of the users of X, Blairja, believes that Trump intentionally dropped the pro-BTC sentence followed by a US pro-dollar sentence to quantify opinions. People compare it with a fishing mechanism to see which direction is the most popular among voters. Over the years, many politicians have used cryptocurrencies in their campaign to attract a new generation of eligible voters in technology.

Currently, Trump is the leading candidate for Republican president nomination, which was closely affixed by fellow members of the Republican Party, Nikki Haley.
