Autopedia Sukses Lestari Adds IDR 10 Billion Capital To Subsidiaries Expanding Ex-Car Auction And Retail Business
JAKARTA – PT Autopedia Sukses Lestari Tbk (ASLC) again injected IDR 10 billion into the pawning business network run by a subsidiary of PT Autopedia Sukses Gadai (ASG).For information, to develop the pawn business, ASLC has injected funds into ASG amounting to Rp17.5 billion from January and February 2024.In addition, the disbursement of the funds is the third, where in September 2023 it was valued at IDR 2.5 billion and December 2023 it was IDR 2.5 billion. ASLC also increased capital.Autopedia Sukses President Director Lestari Jany Candra conveyed the injection of the funds to expand the pawning business network and strengthen the auction and retail business ecosystem of used cars being carried out.Jany added that by developing a pawning business network run by ASG's subsidiary, the company hopes to expand its services for funding needs, especially to JBA customers or the auction business and increase transactions of the dealer-to-dealer (D2D) segment.According to Jany, this pawning business is a distinct advantage for ASLC in serving customers, as it will make it easier for customers with more efficient business transactions."We hope that the pawning business, which is still in its early stages of development, can increase lending to JBA customers and a wider market," he said in his official statement, Sunday, February 25.Meanwhile, ASG already has 2 branch offices that serve loan needs with car guarantees, namely at the Jakarta Raya and Jakarta Tipar branches, and are in the process of opening branches in Pondok Pinang.Jany said the injection of funds was also used for branch expansion, especially in locations close to used car entrepreneurs. ASLC targets ASG to have a minimum of 3 branch offices by the end of 2024.On the other hand, ASG only obtained its business license on June 12, 2023 and has shown results in the third quarter of 2023 by recording revenue of IDR 57 million.
In addition to the pawning business, ASLC will also expand other proven business models, namely Caroline.id. The company targets Caroline.id to have a minimum of 18 dealer branches by the end of 2024.
