Haedar Nashir Affirms Muhammadiyah Is Neutral About Discourse On Election Fraud Rights
PEKALONGAN - General Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Central Executive Haedar Nashir stated that the organization he leads will be neutral regarding the issue of the right to inquiry to be proposed.
"Yes, we are neutral in the sense that it is not his business. Muhammadiyah will not be the perpetrators for this matter," he said after the XXXII Tarjih National Conference in Pekalongan, Central Java, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 23.
However, he said, if there are problems, irregularities, and fraud so that they can be resolved legally according to the applicable constitution.
Haedar Nashir said there needs to be reconciliation again, namely to maintain Indonesian unity because in any match there must be an end, namely there are winners and some who lose.
"However, we must be mature, namely the winner, don't be proud and lose, don't stay away from yourself. But more than that, all parties must learn from elections to elections so that they can be even better," he said.

According to him, Muhammadiyah's view as an organization against Indonesia is still the same, namely neutral and independent of political power.
However, he said, Muhammadiyah is still in a state system that has national politics before independence until independence,
"So Muhammadiyah does not have practical politics, but is of national politics," he said.
He emphasized that Muhammadiyah was not affected by the political dynamics of partisans or political parties participating in the election.
"We will give citizens the freedom to give intelligent, responsible political choices. The important thing is that we must respond to political outcomes maturely," he said.
