BNN Mataram Seizes Cannabis Plants In Pots As High As 1 Meter
The officers of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) confiscated a one meter high cannabis plant in a pot from a young man with the initials MFF (22) from Moncok Karya, Mataram City.
Head of the NTB Province BNN Eradication Division Kombes Sisman Adi Pranoto in Mataram, Wednesday, said that his party found a marijuana plant in a pot from MFF based on the development of information on a package containing dried marijuana coming from Medan into Mataram City.
"So, we confiscated the cannabis plant in this pot from the MFF in his room in the Moncok Karya area," said Sisman as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 21.
The arrest of the MFF took place on Tuesday (20/2). BNN officers arrested MFF after investigating the recipient of a package containing dried marijuana weighing one kilogram from Medan.

The package was revealed to be in a boarding house in the Dasan Agung area, Mataram City. BNN officers found the presence of a package of shipments by also arresting a young man with the initials FAA (20) as the recipient.
"From this FAA statement, we got the identity of the MFF which is said to be the owner of the package," he said.
In addition to confiscating the cannabis plant in a pot, officers during a search of the MFF's house also found a package of ready-to-use marijuana weighing 10 grams grossly.
Sisman said the disclosure of this case is still in the process of being developed. The status of the two youths who were arrested on Tuesday (20/2), is still as witnesses.
"So, there are no suspects yet, the two youths are still witnesses, the investigation of the case is still ongoing," he said.
