Jidi, Electric Motorcycle Gesit And Practically For The African Market

JAKARTA - This is Jidi, the latest electric motor designed and developed specifically for African motorists, ready to face tough road and climate challenges.

Launching Rideapart, February 21, the motor was designed and assembled in Ghana by Kofa, which partners with Chinese e-mobility company TAILG.

With the tough performance, complete features, and special design for Africa, Jidi is determined to be the main choice for motorcyclists on the continent.

Jidi uses an air-cooled mid-driven motorbike, which according to Kofa has been optimized for performance and durability. Drivers can adapt their driving experience to various driving modes, according to various road conditions. Meanwhile, the super bright LED lighting system on motorcycles increases visibility and ensures safety, especially when driving at night.

Jidi is claimed to have performance that exceeds a gasoline motorbike, with a battery range of up to 100 km, a large carrying capacity, and an operational cost of 30 percent more efficiently than a gasoline bike.

Equipped with an electric motorcycle of 72V 3,500W which has a torque of 45 Nm, this motorbike is capable of reaching speeds of up to 85 km/hour, even when carrying a heavy load. In addition, the battery does not need to be recharged, it is enough to exchange at Kofa Swap & Go station in seconds.

Meanwhile, the high ground clearance, strong body, and the placement of motorbikes are in the midst of ensuring stability and comfort while driving on various terrains.

Regarding prices, Kofa has not released them until now because they are still in the market introduction stage.
