Forbes Comes With A Permanent Experience On Metaverse Sandbox

JAKARTA - Forbes, a business magazine founded in 1917, now has a prominent and permanent Web3 presence on the Metaverse Sandbox. Located west of "Dakula Palace" and several plots north of "HODL Island," in the virtual world, this new Forbes experience is currently available to the public.

According to a press release, visitors will sink into attention to space details. "The designed room includes a luxurious swimming pool, an elegant bar, and a comprehensive gallery dedicated to celebrating Under 30 Award recipients in 2024. Each design element has been carefully selected to provide an interesting visual environment that encourages exploration and interaction," said Forbes.

Yes, we’re permanently in the Metaverse ✨Stop by for a dip in the pool, a drink at the bar or to visit our 2024 Under30 gallery.See you there. https://t.co/sUk5YJBhjh

There is also a QR code spread across experiences that direct visitors in hunting to disclose exclusive content.

The Sandbox recently unlocked 209 million embedded asset tokens worth around 90 million US dollars (Rp 1.4 trillion). The funds opened are allocated for backups, teams, and advisors.

This key opening comes amid another flood of releases from Avalanche, Aptos, Optimism, and Sui worth a total of about 900 million US dollars (Rp 14 trillion).

The Sandbox officially opened to businesses in November 2023. The founder of The Sandbox, Sebastien Borget, on launch day explained that "now [any] can open up their experiences to the public [and] make them accessible, which will increase the number of experiences and content that people on the platform can play and find."

Sandbox has entered increasingly competitive space. While big tech companies like Meta and Apple are competing to get the top spot in terms of metaverse hardware, companies like the Sure Events and Somnium Space have expanded ideas that were originally sparked in pre-metaverse applications such as Second Life and on past MOO/MUX/MUSH servers.

Most recently, metaverse real estate has become increasingly attractive to companies and brands where everyone from Atlanta Braves to Ford Motor Company and, now, Forbes is taking place in the digital world of Web3.
