Microsoft Will Invest IDR 32.8 Trillion in Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Infrastructure in Spain
JAKARTA - Software giant Microsoft will expand the presence of its artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud infrastructure in Spain through an investment of 2.1 billion US dollars (IDR 32.8 trillion) in the next two years. This was conveyed by the Vice Chairman and President of the Company, Brad Smith, in a post on the X social media site.
The move comes after the announcement of an AI-focused investment of 3.2 billion euros (IDR 53.9 trillion) in Germany, which will cover the next two years.

Microsoft did not immediately respond to media requests for more details about the investment in Spain.
"Our investment goes beyond just building a data center, it is a testament to our 37-year commitment to Spain, its security, and the development and digital transformation of its government, business, and society," said Smith.
