Visiting Thailand, Minister Of Manpower Ida Fauziah Explores Cooperation In The Field Of Manpower
JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah is exploring work plans with Thailand in the employment sector, namely training and employment programs in both countries.
This was conveyed by Ida during her working visit to Thailand. During the visit, Ida held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia for the Kingdom of Thailand Rachmat Budiman.
"I see from the collaboration between Indonesia and Thailand, there will be many opportunities that will be produced, such as the development of a joint training program relevant to the future needs of the labor market," said Ida in an official statement, Sunday, February 18.
Ida said various training and apprenticeship programs that can be carried out by the two countries such as training for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) technicians; logistics experts; Thai health workers and language training programs for prospective migrant workers.
The next program, continued Ida, is a skilled labor exchange scheme through a certified internship program or work placement program; mapping labor needs in Thailand and potential skilled workers from Indonesia.

Then, the promotion of a safe labor placement program for the two countries; as well as the importance of protection for Indonesian workers working in Thailand.
"I really appreciate various information and insights regarding the need for workers in Thailand," said Ida.
Ida hopes that cooperation in the field of employment between Indonesia and Thailand can continue to be established and develop in the future.
"I believe we are able to achieve a common goal in improving the quality of skilled workforce, especially in the AsiaTenggara region," he concluded.
