Police Hand Over Panca Darmansyah Case Files, Suspect Of Murder Of 4 Children To South Jakarta Prosecutor's Office
JAKARTA - The file for the premeditated murder case allegedly committed by Panca Darmansyah against 4 biological children in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta has entered stage 1.
Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Henrikus Yossi, said that the submission of files to the South Jakarta District Attorney (Jaksel) was carried out yesterday, Thursday, February 15.
"Currently, investigators have sent files to the prosecutor's office. This means that stage 1 has been carried out," Yossi told reporters at the Mampang Praptan Police, Friday, February 16.
Yossi said that until now the files that had been submitted to the South Jakarta Prosecutor's Office were being investigated by the prosecutor's team. He explained that if later they get instructions, they will be completed so that they can be tried immediately.
"Until now, we are still waiting for the results of the research on files by friends from the South Jakarta District Attorney," he said.

Regarding the length of the examination, Yossi continued, based on the law, it was explained that the prosecutor's team had 14 days to check the file.
"The law stipulates that since stage 1 was given by investigators to the Prosecutor's Office, friends from the Prosecutor's Office have 14 days to conduct file research and determine their attitude, whether the file is complete or there are things that must be completed," he concluded.
For information, Panca Darmansyah (41) is a suspect in the murder case of her four children with the initials VA (6), SP (4), AR (3), and AS (1). Panca is suspected of killing his four children by taking turns.
According to the police, Panca carried out the heinous act sequentially, from the smallest to the oldest.
