Hyundai Ioniq 5 Batik Officially Sold In Indonesia, Dilego Almost IDR 1 Billion

JAKARTA - In the 2024 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS), PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) brings a spirit titled Hyundai EV. Expect More by having a vision to encourage electrification in Indonesia.

One of the vehicles launched was the Ioniq 5 Batik with a limited edition. This model is a symbolic manifestation of the company that has contributed for 50 years in the context of bilateral relations between Indonesia and South Korea.

"Hyundai Ioniq 5 has become one of Hyundai's milestones in the Indonesian electric vehicle industry. This is also the first electric car to be produced locally in Indonesia," said Franciscus Soerjopranoto, PT HMID's Chief Operating Officer, on the sidelines of IIMS 2024, Jakarta, Thursday, February 15.

This car is decorated with a kawung batik pattern that combines a geometrical element of kawung fruit with a typical Hyundai parametric pixel. The pattern defines unity and harmony, in line with the company's global vision.

The connection between the Kawung Batik pattern and the IONIQ pixel design is not only a design element, but also a cultural heritage symbol that combines analog and digital elements in the best electric vehicles from Hyundai Motor Company.

A gray kawung batik pattern adorns the hood, roof, side of the car, and back door. In fact, the inside is dominated by the pattern of kawung batik on the seat, horn, and arm support.

In order to add an aesthetic aspect to the interior, Hyundai gave him this batik pattern with two color choices, namely soga defining nature, simplicity, and humanity, in line with the design of Ioniq 5 which utilizes recycled materials and their components.

This car also has the same performance as the standard version of Ioniq 5. This crossover offers a driving experience of up to 451 km and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 7.4 seconds.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Batik can be ordered nationally for IDR 990 million On The Road DKI Jakarta. IONIQ 5 also uses E-GMP which allows innovative features such as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) to charge electronic devices.
