BSI Prepares Easy Service For Customers To Pay Hajj Costs 2024
PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) has prepared the best service to make it easier for customers or prospective pilgrims to pay for the 2024 pilgrimage travel costs ahead of the deadline for closing the payment period on February 23, 2024.
The company's internal data records that 53 percent of prospective pilgrims in BSI are mostly over 55 years old. To make it easier for his congregation to prepare pre- and post-hajj services that can be used by prospective BSI pilgrims.
"One of these services is payment through BSI Mobile so that prospective pilgrims can carry out the process of paying their hajj without queuing to the branch office," said BSI Sales & Distribution Director Anton Sukarna in a press statement, quoted from Antara, Friday, February 16.
According to Anton, the company has prepared a series of Hajj payment services at BSI net, real time BSI Mobile e-channels (real time) and more than 1,100 BSI outlets which are open at 08.00-15.00 local time and BSI Smart.
It does not stop there, the company presents various advantages through BSI Debit Mabrur on Indonesian Hajj Savings BSI. These profits include free cash withdrawal fees and cashback transactions in Saudi Arabia, competitive exchange rates, and shopping programs while donating at F&B merchants 0.1 percent of total spending.
Anton said that the provision of services by BSI is a form of the company's commitment to provide one-stop financial solution for Hajj customers in Indonesia to carry out financial transactions during the pilgrimage that is comfortable and safe.

Data from the Indonesian Ministry of Religion noted that as many as 241,000 people will go for Hajj this year. Of this number, BSI estimates that 83 percent of them are regular Hajj candidates for BSI customers. Meanwhile, last year, BSI served 81 percent of prospective pilgrims in the country.
BSI estimates that there will be a surge in Hajj payment traffic in the last two weeks of closure. The government has extended the payment period for Hajj travel costs until February 23, 2024, which was previously opened from January 10 to February 12, 2024. The cost of Hajj paid by pilgrims this year reaches Rp56 million per person.
