Pratama Arhan Confirms Mother-in-law's Request To Play Abroad For 10 Years
JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team defender, Pratama Arhan, has become a new player for the South Korean club, Suwon FC. He moved after one season with the J2 League club, Tokyo Verdy, for a season.
Arhan admits that the transfer to Suwon FC is one way to continue to fight for football's career abroad. He is still reluctant to return to Indonesia.
The 22-year-old defender also confirmed rumors that his mother-in-law, Andre Rosiade, had asked him to stay abroad for approximately 10 years.
After joining one of the K-League 1 clubs at the highest level of South Korean competition, it means that Arhan is entering his second year continuing his ambition to expand his wings. "Yes, that (carriage abroad) I chatted with my in-laws. Indeed, I also still want to have a career abroad. Then, my in-laws support."

"So, yes, it is targeted that for the next 10 years we will continue to play abroad," said Pratama Arhan on Media Day with Suwon FC in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
Pratama Arhan has just officially joined Kim Eun-jung's side on January 16, 2024. Previously, Arhan defended Tokyo Verdy in 2022-2023.
However, throughout his career in Japan, Arhan only appeared four times with details of 256 minutes.
Judging from these notes, Pratama Arhan then opened other opportunities for flying hours. He is also currently ambitious to be an important pillar for Suwon FC to develop potential.
"I don't want to go back to Indonesia yet. I want to have a career abroad. I want to try new experiences again to improve my quality."

Meanwhile, Arhan's desire to always fight outside Indonesia made him not afraid of the issue of adaptation.
Armed with his experience of appearing in Japan, he admitted that it was not difficult to adapt to Suwon FC players.
According to Arhan, his adaptation in South Korea went easy, especially since the Suwon FC players also warmly accepted and guided him.
"Adaptasi bersama tim saya sangat senang. Teman-teman di tim sangat baik, ramah, dan sangat mendukung saya. Jadi, adaptasi di tim ini sangat mudah karena sekarang juga lagi training camp di Indonesia. Jadi, buat saya lebih mudah adaptasinya," tutur Arhan.
Suwon FC is currently undergoing a training camp in Indonesia. They are also scheduled to conduct several trials with Indonesian teams to prepare for the Tapil in K-League 1.
