Liverpool Lost Defender Trent Alexander-Arnold In Carabao Cup Final

JAKARTA - A heavy blow for Liverpool who lost mainstay defender Trent Alexander-Arnold. The knee injury forced Alexander-Arnold to miss the Carabao Cup final or the English League Cup against Chelsea, Sunday, February 25, 2024.

Alexander-Arnold actually suffered an injury while bringing Liverpool to a 2-0 win against Arsenal in the FA Cup, early January 2024. The knee injury he suffered forced the England national team defender to be out for three weeks.

It was recorded that Alexander-Arnold did not appear in three matches, two of which were in the Carabao Cup semifinal against Fulham. He returned to play when the Reds faced Norwich City in the FA Cup match, January 28, 2024.

In the big match against Arsenal in the English Premier League, Alexander-Arnold started again. But this 25-year-old player only played almost 60 minutes before being replaced by Andrew Robertson.

Alexander-Arnold is still being played by manager Jurgen Klopp against Burnley.

In that match, Liverpool won 3-1, but Alexander-Arnold had to leave the pitch early. He played during the first half and was then replaced by Harvey Elliot.
