Toyota Vellfire Hybrid Enters Indonesian Market, Ready To Compete In Premium Vehicle Segment

PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM), as the sole agent of brand holder (ATPM) and provider of Toyota cars in Indonesia, officially brought the All New Vellfire to the homeland market at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024.

Not only providing a luxury-style MPV, this model also shows the company's commitment to presenting more electrification vehicles. The All New Vellfire will be available in the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) variant.

In addition, the company made various changes to this latest Vellfire, ranging from exterior, interior, to performance. In order to improve comfort, Toyota also reduces vibration and noise in this luxury car.

"Today I am very happy to introduce a new member of the hybrid luxury MPV electrification family. A combination of comfort and high-end features," said Hiroyuki Ueda, President Director of PT TAM at the launch, Thursday, February 15.

The car design looks fresher with a length of 5,000 mm and a width of 1,850 mm, providing comfort for passengers.

Carrying the theme Forceful x Impact Luxury', the front of the car looks very different from the previous generation. Front lights become thinner and neatly arranged.

In addition to the luxury it offers, the van is equipped with advanced features that can help drivers, such as Intra-Lane Steering Assist, Deceleration Assist, Remote Park, Cruise Control, and Lane Tracing Assist.

Toyota Vellfire is equipped with hybrid technology using the same engine as Alphard, namely the A25A-FXS 2.5 liter Hybrid System Parallel Series with e-CVT transmission. Two or four-wheel drive options are available.
