Regarding The Decreased Manual Transmission Car, BMW: The Era Will End

This move will be followed by BMW for some of its newest models. Frank Weber, as the Department of Management of the BMW AG development section, said that the epoch of manual transmission had ended with noting that the model's sales figures did not match its development costs.

The manual transmission car is a fun product. However, the volume is getting smaller, so it doesn't make sense to develop it again," Weber said as quoted by Quattroruote, Thursday, February 15.

However, the manufacturer still provides cars with this dental transfer system, such as M2, M3, M4, and recently, Z4 M40i. Weber also emphasized that customers who want to get a BMW car with manual transmission, must get it as soon as possible.

"If you want M manual, you have to buy it now," Weber said.

Some time ago, this German manufacturer released Z4 M40i, which is a roadster-type model by offering two transmission options, one of which is a six-speed manual gyrbox.

Equipped with a 3.0 liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine fresh, this car has up to 382 dk of power and 500 Nm of torque, so it can produce 249 km/hour of speed and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour of about 4 seconds.
