Ridwan Kamil: Whoever Is Elected Has Become Fate

Head of the Prabowo-Gibran Regional Campaign Team (TKD) West Java Ridwan Kamil said whoever was elected as Indonesia's leader in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) had become part of fate.

"We basically take lessons from whoever is elected, it's fate, it's his line, also those who are not elected are the same, so we accept it," said Ridwan Kamil in Bandung, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 14.

According to Ridwan Kamil, whoever will be elected president and vice president is fate and must be accepted. He hopes that the level of voter participation in West Java will be better this year.

After using his voting rights, he still hopes that the Prabowo-Gibran pair can win one round in the 2024 presidential election (Pilpres).

"I pray that my position as chairman of the West Java TKD, if it turns out that it can be good, the sound of 02 a round, that's our happiness, even if not, of course there is still a process until June for quite a long time," he said.

Ridwan Kamil expressed his optimism that it appeared based on a number of survey institutions that often released the number 2 pair winning strongly in West Java.

"The survey two weeks ago, the figure was 54-55 percent with a donation of 54-55 percent in West Java, so the national survey did reach above 50 percent nationally. Moreover, if West Java can reach 60 percent. So we still have optimism and confidence," he said.
