Serious About Musician Rights, Voice Of Baceprot Visits FESMI
JAKARTA - Voice of Baceprot (VoB) has just met with the management of the Federation of Indonesian Musicians (FESMI). The meeting was revealed through Instagram uploads.
In the uploaded photo VoB, Marsya (vocals, guitar), Widi (bass), and Siti (drums) met with Yovie Widianto as General Chair of FESMI, Endah Widiastuti as Director of Training and Empowerment, and Panji Prasetyo as Director of Law.
In the description of the upload, VoB admitted that he increasingly understands the vulnerability of musicians without legal knowledge. To better understand, the band from Garut expressed its seriousness in learning what is their right.
From them we increasingly understand how vulnerable it is to live and work musicians without understanding the law, without a protective umbrella. Therefore, through the Federation of Indonesian Musician Unions (FESMI), we are seriously studying it," wrote Voice of Baceprot, seen Monday, February 12.
VoB also invites musicians to continue working and not'memorizing' each other.
"Let's be healthy in work. In a healthy work, there is mutual happiness, not mutual destruction," he said.
