Muhaimin Urges Volunteers To Pray More During Tenuous Times

JAKARTA - The vice presidential candidate, Muhaimin Iskandar, appealed to volunteers to pray more during the calm period of the 2024 presidential election campaign.

Muhaimin explained that the campaign process had been passed for more than two months, so it was time to focus on calming down and waiting for the voting day on Wednesday (14/2).

"We are concentrating on praying together in various places. In the next two days, I myself will gather with the kiai to pray that everything is smooth, safe, and there is no cheating," he said before starting a political oration in the last grand campaign at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Jakarta. reported by ANTARA, Saturday, February 10.

The General Chairperson of the DPP National Awakening Party also prayed to the individuals who had acted or intended to commit fraud, to be given guidance by Allah SWT to stop these negative activities.

Gus Imin hopes that all efforts to hold elections honestly and fairly will produce trustworthy and competent leaders to build Indonesia's nation and state in the future.

"Hopefully it will make this election a very objective result and also based on mutual legitimacy," he said.

Regarding the results of the 2024 presidential election, Cak Imin is optimistic that AMIN will be able to win the five-year political competition.
