ICRC Survey: Prabowo-Gibran's Electability Rises In East Java Thanks To Khofifah's Support

JAKARTA - The Cipta Research and Consulting (ICRC) Survey Institute released the latest survey data. The ICRC survey said that Prabowo-Gibran's electability rose in East Java thanks to Khofifah's support.

As is known, the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, in January 2024, has stated that he supports Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election.

Khofifah has also officially entered the structure of the National Campaign Team (TKN) with the position of Steering Committee for TKN Prabowo-Gibran.

"The Prabowo-Gibran pair increased because of the effect of Khofifah Indar Parawansa's entry in the ranks of Prabowo-Gibran supporters so that it had an electoral impact in East Java and had an national effect," said ICRC Executive Director Hadi Suprapto Rusli, in an official statement on Friday, February 9, 2024.

ICRC also noted that the Anies-Muhaimin pair had increased in several areas. Meanwhile, the decline in Ganjar-Mahfud's votes was caused by several factors, one of which was the reduction in Ganjar's votes in Central Java.

In the release of the ICRC survey, the Prabowo-Gibran pair is still superior and has increased by 43.6 percent.

Then, the Anies-Muhaimin pair was at 27.2 percent and the Ganjar-Mahfud pair was at 26.3 percent. While the swing voter was at 3.5 percent.

As for the survey data collection method, the number of samples in this survey was 1,230 people with a margin of error of approximately 2,79 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.

The sampling method used is Stratified Random Sampling which is collected from January 26 to February 1, 2024.
