Pochettino Demands Chelsea Consistency
JAKARTA Mauricio Pochettino demanded the consistency of Chelsea players after winning 3-1 over Aston Villa in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Villa Park, Thursday morning WIB.
Goals from Conor Gallagher, Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez's beautiful free-kick ensured the Blues' move to the last 16 of the FA Cup to meet Leeds United.
After the match against Villa, Pochettino demanded that his players start playing consistently. Although, he is aware that consistency is Chelsea's biggest challenge, which is mostly young players.
With the youth team, it is a challenge to be consistent. We have a few days to recover and think a little. That's how to go forward and fight. I am very happy for the players. They believe in us and the team. The connection is good throughout the season, even though the results are not good, they are still sure we can do something," he told Match of The Day as reported by sportsmole.

The former Spurs and PSG coach was delighted by Chelsea's performance when they beat Villa. In fact, the Argentine said the match against Villa was one of the best performances of his team.
"It was one of the best performances of the season. I think the players really enjoyed this game and yes, I think we played well against a very difficult team. Aston Villa performed amazingly at work, they were in the top four and of course I think they are the second best team to play at home," explained Pochettino.
"To be in the Carabao Cup final and now in the next round of the FA Cup, I think by playing like this we can win more games than defeat," he continued.
The win over Aston Villa saw Chelsea now win their last six of their last ten games in all competitions. Mauricio Pochettino's men will next travel to Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday night.
