Grab Lebaran Report: Improved Consumers In Messages And Transportation Services

JAKARTA GrabAds released annual reports regarding the activities of Grabdati Ramadan users. This report was compiled based on Grab's internal data and survey results from 1,283 users at the end of last year.

This report was released to help business people or Small Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to estimate the right approach to consumers. The reason is, the pattern of spending and consumption always increases during Ramadan.

We see an increase in spending and consumption patterns. This provides an opportunity for business people to reach the right audience online by planning a strategic campaign at the beginning of Ramadan," explained Grab Indonesia Country Marketing Head Melinda Savitri.

In the report, it was noted that digital activity increased during the month of Ramadan. During this period, 72 percent of respondents plan to rely on food delivery services and make payment transactions at Grab.

The results of the next survey show that Grab has experienced an increase in consumers. The service platform on-demand has increased by 19 percent to send parcels to relatives or friends ahead of Eid.

Next, the results of the GrabAds survey show that online transportation users increased at the beginning of Ramadan. This happens because of the tradition of family gatherings. In line with this increase, Grab's weekly passenger number increased by 19 percent.

Meanwhile, Grab's internal data shows that orders at GrabFood and GrabMart experienced a significant spike. At GrabFood, the increase in orders peaked at Takbiran Night, while GrabMart's highest order increased during sahur.
