Nokia Will Develop Balitower Internet Network

JAKARTA Nokia announced that they were selected as developers of the Balitower internet network, a provider of telecommunications infrastructure. This partnership was announced on Wednesday, February 7.

The Finnish technology company will provide solutions in the form of an IPedge routing platform and innovative applications to improve Balipower's operational efficiency. Later, the Balitower network infrastructure will be replaced with this solution.

Nokia said that they would use several products such as service routers 7750, Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), Carrier Grade Network Address Translation (CGNAT), and online routines. This routing solution will be used in Jakarta, Bali, and Singapore.

Using a solution from Nokia, Balitower believes that the technology company that has been established since 1865 will reduce their operational complexity. The solution provided by Nokia will also provide a better experience for customers.

"This collaboration will allow us to support growing business needs over a long period of time, as well as position us well to take advantage of emerging market opportunities," said Balipower CEO Jap Owen Ronadhi in a statement received by VOI.

Meanwhile, IP Vice President and Business Chief Nokia Asia Pacific Kent Wong said he was happy with this partnership. Wong said that Nokia would provide superior experience to customers who choose their services.

Our focus on customer experience measurements involves all service trips, with the aim of assessing their level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction. We are excited to collaborate with Balipower in executing this project, "explained Wong.
