In Collaboration With BMW, Toyota Will Present The Latest Generation Supra With SIntegious Fuel

JAKARTA - Japanese manufacturer Toyota has echoed the'multi-path' approach in their efforts to present low-emission vehicles, namely presenting cars that are not only focused on one technology, consisting of Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV), Fuel-Cell Vehicle (FCEV), to maintaining Internal Combustion Engine (ICE).

Reportedly one of the models to be included in this approach is the latest generation Supra. With the current generation entering the age of five, Toyota intends to present a replacement who will attend in the next few years and will be given the latest innovation.

Reporting from Best Car, Wednesday, February 7, the manufacturer will maintain the ICE engine in the next generation of models using synthetic fuels (e-fuels) by utilizing collaboration with BMW.

The next generation of Supra will maintain the current engine configuration, which is a 6-cylinder 3.0 liter turbocharged. In addition to carrying environmentally friendly fuels, the model will for the first time carry millid-hybrid technology.

Thus, the machine can generate up to 394 dk of power or more powerful than now which only reaches 382 dk. The possibility of transmitting six manual accelerations will be presented in conjunction with an automatic eight acceleration.

Before releasing the latest generation, the company headed by Akio Toyoda plans to present Supra GRMN, as the top and most powerful version. It is likely that this two-door-style car will carry a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder engine from the BMW M4 CSL, generate up to 542 dk of power and offer a dual-clutch seven acceleration transmission.
