Maluku Prosecutor's Office Names JK As Suspect In East Seram Regency Government Budget Corruption Of IDR 2.5 Billion
MALUKU - The Maluku High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has named the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of the East Seram Regency (SBT) with the initials JK as a suspect in the corruption of the direct and indirect expenditure budget at the SBT Regional Secretary in 2021.
"The determination of the Regional Secretary with the initials JK as a suspect is based on the Letter of Determination of the Suspect number: B-201/Q.1/Fd.2/02/2024 dated January 29, 2024," said Acting Head of Penkum and Public Relations of the Maluku Attorney General's Office, Aizit P. Latuconsina in Ambon, Maluku, Monday, February 5, was confiscated by Antara.
JK was named a suspect after the Maluku Attorney General's Office investigators found preliminary evidence of this alleged corruption case.
After being named a suspect, the Maluku Prosecutor's Office today sent a summons for JK to undergo an examination.
"JK will be questioned as a suspect in the near future," said Aizit.
Based on an audit by the Maluku Provincial Inspectorate, this case cost the state Rp2.5 billion.

In this case, apart from JK, the Maluku Attorney General's Office has named IL as the Treasurer of the SBB Regional Secretariat as a suspect.
The direct and indirect expenditure budget for the Regional Secretariat of SBT Regency for Fiscal Year 2021, which is more than IDR 28 billion with details for the Direct Expenditure Budget (Employee Expenditure Expenditures) of IDR 12.7 billion and an Indirect Expenditure Budget (expension and services) of IDR 16,049 billion.
