Prabowo Repeatedly Agrees In Fifth Debate, Anies: Changes Are More Accepted By Other Candidates
KOTAMOBAGU - presidential candidate (candidate) number 1 Anies Baswedan welcomed the attitude of presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto who often agreed to his arguments during the fifth debate of the 2024 presidential election.
In yesterday's debate, Prabowo admitted that he agreed with Anies' statement regarding the need for attention to the welfare of teachers, to open wider space for cultural observers to express themselves, to bring in professors to teach domestically.
"I am grateful that Pak Prabowo agreed with a lot of what we have said, he repeatedly agreed," said Anies in Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi, Monday, February 5.
According to Anies, Prabowo's approval is a sign that the idea of change he echoed with the vice presidential candidate Muhaimin Iskandar was accepted by his competing presidential and vice presidential candidates.
"It illustrates that actually the ideas and changes are increasingly accepted, including by other candidates," explained Anies.
For information, Prabowo several times felt that he agreed with Anies' arguments in the fifth debate with the theme of social welfare, culture, education, information technology, health, employment, human resources, and inclusion.
One of them was when Anies stated that the government must prioritize improving the welfare of teachers in order to improve the quality of teaching the educators.
"When we talk about educating the nation's life, educators are the key. We want educators to be able to educate our children. Therefore, we must take full responsibility for the welfare of their educators so that they can concentrate on educating our children," explained Anies.

In another session, Anies in the debate emphasized the importance of improving the quality of human resources to build telecommunication manufacturing sovereignty and information technology in Indonesia.
Anies also added that improving human quality and innovation in the information technology sector by bringing in experts to transfer technology is also a step that needs to be taken.
Similarly, Prabowo assessed that Anies' opinion was relevant to current needs. "It is very relevant, I also agree. But once again the government must be more proactive, invest in special schools for them and try special technologies. Now there have been many breakthroughs in technology to help people with disabilities," he continued.
