First Time Blues, Special Celebration Of The 25th Anniversary Of Orianthi's Career
JAKARTA - Australian-born guitarist Orianthi wants to create something special to celebrate her 25th birthday as a professional musician.
Orianthi, who lives in Los Angeles, entered the studio of Love Street Sound owned by guitarist The Doors, Robby Krieger in which he wrote, produced, and recorded his debut single for Woodward Avenue Records. "First Time Blues" which will be released on February 23.
Orianthi has performed "First Time Blues" in concerts with her band over the past year and has been able to record it live in the studio in just a few draws.

To add a second guitar solo to the "First Time Blues", Orianthi invited a friend to record with her: Grammy's three-time Grammy nomination blues guitarist, Joe Bonamassa. They have played together many times, but "First Time Blues" was their first recording together.
" Say's best friend and legend, Joe Bonamassa, put his lead fire on the second solo part. Joe is a great musician. We've done it many times in the past and I'm grateful he came in and added his magic to 'First Time Blues'," said Orianthi, who also wrote, produced and recorded his second single for Woodward Avenue Records, "Bad For Each Other" on Love Street Sound.
