Needdem Ask Beginner Voters Not To Be Intimidated During The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - Program Officer of Association for Elections and Democracy (Perludem) Heroik M. Pratama advised novice voters not to be intimidated during the 2024 election voting.

"Friends, when coming to the TPS, don't want to be intimidated," said Heroik M. Pratama in a showdaring entitled "Young Smart Voters", reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 2.

According to him, the basic character of the novice voters is critical, intelligent, and with integrity, which the election participants must pay attention to.

"So posters with a millennial style are not enough for novice voters to choose. They (renewable voters) will not be lulled by styles or styles like young people," said Heroik M. Pratama.

In the show, the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Bintang Puspayoga advised novice voters to exercise their voting rights in the 2024 General Election.

"Ladies and gentlemen, to exercise their voting rights as good citizens. Don't get involved. Mother hopes that all Indonesian children who have the right to vote must exercise their voting rights to come to the TPS. That is the role of a pioneer," said Bintang Puspayoga.

Bintang Puspayoga also asked young people to become reporters by overseeing the election process so that it remains jurdil and luber (honest, fair, direct, public, free, and confidential).

"If you look at your environment, there are things that are not in accordance with existing regulations, your role as the reporter, Bunda, I hope that it will be used as well as possible," said Bintang Puspayoga.
