MotoGP 2024 Schedule, Qatar Returns To Opening Series
JAKARTA - The complete schedule for the 2024 MotoGP season has been released and will begin in March 2024. In this season's series, the excitement will come from fierce competition to the return of the Losail Circuit in Qatar as the opening series.
In MotoGP 2024, competition among riders is confirmed to be increasingly attractive. The reason is, a number of names of veteran racers will appear by defending different manufacturers.
Marc Marquez left Repsol Honda and joined Gresini. Then, there was Franco Morbidelli who left the Yamaha team and strengthened Pramac.
The big riders did not hesitate to change their fate by leaving the factory team and switching to the satellite team.

In total, the 2024 MotoGP race presents 22 series. Eleven races were held before the summer and eleven more after the summer.
In addition to this excitement, in the 2024 MotoGP series there will also be significant differences due to the return of the Losail Circuit, Qatar, as the opening series.
In MotoGP 2023, the Losail Circuit underwent renovations so that the race there was shifted to the 19th series on November 19, 2023.
MotoGP Qatar will hold a race on March 10, 2024. After the Qatar MotoGP, participants will head to Portugal at the Portimao Circuit, March 24, 2024.
After Portugal, MotoGP Argentina and the United States will be held on April 7 and April 14, 2024. Indonesia is also re-engaged in this season's edition.
Unlike the 2023 season when the Mandalika Circuit is the location for the 15th series of racing. In the 2024 MotoGP, the Mandalika Circuit will be included in the 17th series of racing agenda which will be held on September 29, 2024.
On the temporary MotoGP 2024 calendar, the name of the Kazakstan race returns after it is canceled in 2023.
The Sokol International Racetrack Circuit must first undergo homologation. If it is canceled again, Hungary will be a substitute.
