Ahok Withdraws From Pertamina's President Commissioner, Will Campaign Ganjar-Mahfud
JAKARTA - Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok resigned from the position of President Commissioner of PT Pertamina. Ahok chose to go down the mountain campaigning for Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in the 2024 presidential election.
"This upload is proof of my resignation letter as the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) which I submitted today, February 2, 2024," said the caption for Ahok's upload of the resignation letter via his personal Instagram account, Friday, February 2.
"I hereby declare that I support and will participate in campaigning for presidential candidates Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD. This is so that there is no more confusion regarding my political direction," continued Ahok closing with the word'merdeka' nickname.

This statement follows the news that the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahja Purnama alias Ahok will go down the mountain to campaign for presidential candidate number 03, Ganjar Pranowo.
Initially, Arya was asked whether the SOE commissioners could attend the campaign location but did not participate in the speech. In response to this, Arya emphasized that commissioners are not allowed to campaign.
