Funds For Claiming Direct Loan Funds Sent To Campus
JAKARTA - The peer to peer lending (pinjol) fintech service PT Inclusive Finance Group or Danacita straightens out the confusion of information circulating regarding its presence in educational institutions.
Through a cooperation agreement with educational institutions, one of which is the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Danacita acts as an alternative solution to paying education costs.
President Director of Danacita Alfonsus Wibowo said that his party ensured that 100 percent of the funding disbursed by Danacita was directly to the campus institution's account. not to individual accounts from students or guardians to ensure the use of funds only for educational needs.
"Everything (student loan funds) was immediately transferred to educational institutions to meet the right purpose, and we only finance education costs," said the Danacita Explanation press conference regarding education funding, at the Des Indes Hotel, Jakarta, Friday, February 2, 2024.
Alfonsus said that the total cost applied by Danacita is around 0.07 percent per day, which is still below the maximum limit set by the OJK of 0.1 percent per day.
Meanwhile, all costs arising from each application for education costs can be accessed and viewed transparently by prospective recipients of student or guardian funds and the interest rate of 0.07 percent already includes other costs, especially the cost of approval and platform fees.
In addition, he also emphasized that currently Danacita does not charge administrative costs in the loan application process.
"I need to clarify that the total cost we apply includes the cost of the platform per month and also the cost of approval. We don't have administrative costs," he said.
In practice, Danacita applies the practice of responsive lending by ensuring that each funding is adjusted to the ability of the recipient of the funds, and prioritizing the financial welfare of the recipients of the funds, namely students or guardians, in the long term.
In addition, Danacita is committed to the principle of good faith in all operational aspects, including personal data protection and collection, as well as providing an early payment program without additional costs.

Fundita also prioritizes an in-depth analysis and verification process to assess the ability of recipients of student or guardian funds in paying off the funding charged. Recipients who are still less than 21 years old or do not have sufficient income are required to submit to Danacita together with their parents or guardians
In addition, in the process of collecting Danacita, it is not coercion to potential recipients of funds, because Danacita is only an alternative solution for students and guardians in paying tuition fees.
"We do not have a form of coercion to students and we do not expect partner campus partners to force students, the final decision is in the hands of students and parents, they can determine which is the best," he concluded.
Currently, Danacita has collaborated with 148 educational partners and distributed funds for education costs to 27,440 users throughout Indonesia. Danacita also has a permit and is supervised by the OJK based on the Decree of the OJK Commissioner Number KEP-68/D.05/2021 dated August 2, 2021.
